Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, CO), 3-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Douglas County improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Smoky Hill lost 40-0 in their recent non-league battle against Overland (Aurora, CO)

The Bulldogs now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Golden for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Brighton will play a Demons team coming off a 41-19 non-league loss to New Smyrna Beach (New Smyrna Beach, FL). The Demons record now stands at 0-1.
