August 30, 2024: Corpus Christi, TX 78410 Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX), 42-40 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Calallen advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Alice (Alice, TX) to play the Coyotes in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Coyotes go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Alice won 48-28 in their recent non-league battle against Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX)
