The Cary-Grove Trojans were victorious over the host Central Rockets football team by a score of 27-3 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Friday, September 6. Cary-Grove will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 35-7 league loss to Huntley (Huntley, IL).

The Rockets (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers enter the Fox Valley challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Dundee-Crown ran past Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL), 20-14, in a league challenge.
