The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves football team (Hillsborough, NC), dropped 38-12 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC)

With the win, Northwest Halifax advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC) to encounter the Trojans in a Tar Roanoke 1A bout on Saturday, September 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Southeast Halifax lost 21-14 in their recent non-league bout against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC)
