The Springdale Bulldogs felled the visiting Central Tigers football team by a score of 49-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Van Buren Pointers (Van Buren, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Springdale will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Pointers go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 37-27 non-league win over Alma (Alma, AR).

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southside (Fort Smith, AR). The Mavericks go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Southside toppled Northside (Fort Smith, AR), 42-35, in a non-league challenge.
