Tennessee High School Football - Oneida loses to Coalfield
August 30, 2024: Coalfield, TN 37719 Coalfield Yellow Jackets (Coalfield, TN) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN), 28-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Coalfield advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Greenback (Greenback, TN) to play the Cherokees in a 1A Region 2 battle on Friday, September 6. The Cherokees go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Greenback lost 48-0 in their recent non-league battle against Whitwell (Whitwell, TN)
The Indians now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Eagleton College & Career Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Oneida will play a Royals team coming off a 24-10 non-league win over Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Royals record now stands at 2-1.
