Alaska High School Football - Colony thwarted by Palmer

Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Colony Knights (Palmer, AK), 47-23 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Palmer improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Moose travel to Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to play the Wolves in a Railbelt battle on Saturday, September 7. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Eagle River lost 42-12 in their recent non-league battle against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)

The Knights now have a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bartlett for a Cook Inlet contest on Friday, September 6. Colony will confront a Golden Bears squad coming off a 42-12 non-league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 2-1.
