Sweet Grass County Sheepherders (Big Timber, MT) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Colstrip Colts (Colstrip, MT), 37-22 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Sweet Grass County improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sheepherders host Roundup (Roundup, MT) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Roundup lost 46-12 in their recent non-league battle against Fairfield/Augusta (Fairfield, MT)

The Colts now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Columbus for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Colstrip will play a Cougars team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Anaconda (Anaconda, MT). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
