Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC), 48-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Cross advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Timberland (St. Stephen, SC) to play the Wolves in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Timberland lost 28-26 in their recent non-league battle against Lake City (Lake City, SC)

The Cougars now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Baptist Hill for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. North Charleston will play a Bobcats team coming off a 58-0 non-league win over Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-0.
