South Dakota High School Football - Garretson trounced by DeSmet
August 30, 2024: DeSmet, SD 57231 DeSmet Bulldogs (DeSmet, SD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD), 72-21 in a non-league battle.
With the win, DeSmet advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hanson (Alexandria, SD) to play the Beavers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Beavers go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Hanson lost 44-6 in their recent non-league battle against Hamlin (Hayti, SD)
The Blue Dragons now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Centerville for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Garretson will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 70-44 league loss to Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Tornadoes record now stands at 1-1.
