California High School Football - Linfield Christian can't hold off Dimond

Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Linfield Christian Lions (Temecula, CA), 40-39 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Dimond improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Lynx host West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to play the Eagles in a Cook Inlet battle on Saturday, September 7. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 2-1. West Anchorage won 21-20 in their recent non-league battle against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK)

The Lions now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host North for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Linfield Christian will play a Saxons team coming off a 41-19 non-league loss to Inglewood (Inglewood, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 1-1.
