California High School Football - Ripon Christian tops El Capitan

August 30, 2024: Merced, CA 95348

The Ripon Christian Knights football squad scored 23 points and limited the host El Capitan Gauchos to 13 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Calaveras for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Ripon Christian will meet a Red Hawks squad coming off a 54-0 non-league win over Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, El Capitan drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gauchos travel to Beyer (Modesto, CA) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-1. Beyer won 26-20 in their recent non-league test against West (Tracy, CA)
