In Friday's league game, the Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA) football team edged the visiting Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA), by a tally of 53-52.

In their next game, the Golden Rams face the New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 6. Highlands will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
