The Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH) football knocked off the host Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH), 42-23 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sailors face the Willard Crimson Flashes (Willard, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Vermilion will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Crimson Flashes go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 24-21 non-league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, OH).

The Falcons (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Poland Seminary (Poland, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Poland Seminary toppled Howland (Warren, OH), 41-7, in a non-league challenge.
