North Carolina High School Football - Robbinsville falls to Franklin

The Franklin Panthers felled the visiting Robbinsville Black Knights football team by a score of 30-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Maroon Devils go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC).

The Black Knights (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Heritage toppled Erwin (Asheville, NC), 32-27, in a non-league challenge.
