The Oakdale Mustangs walloped the visiting Galena Grizzlies football team by a score of 42-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Oakdale will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 25-9 non-league win over Golden Valley (Merced, CA).

The Grizzlies (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Reno (Reno, NV). The Huskies go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Reno was ripped by Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA), 34-9, in a non-league challenge.
