August 30, 2024: Lancaster, KY 40444 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) and the visiting Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY), witnessed Garrard County's football squad edge Middlesboro by a tally of 23-20.
The Golden Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Bullitt Central was nudged by Lincoln County (Stanford, KY), 17-14, in a non-league contest.
