The Rancho Verde Mustangs got by the host Great Oak Wolfpack football team by a score of 26-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Rancho Verde will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Blackhawks go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 42-8 non-league win over Heritage (Menifee, CA).

The Wolfpack (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Fallbrook was edged by Valley Center (Valley Center, CA), 56-6, in a non-league challenge.
