August 30, 2024: Herreid, SD 57632 The Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) football trounced the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), 50-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Faulkton for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Herreid/Selby will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 28-14 league win over Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Northwestern Area drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD) to clash with the Patriots in a Lake Region (9 Man) outing on Saturday, September 7.
