Tennessee High School Football - Hickman County thwarted by McEwen
August 30, 2024: Centerville, TN 37033 McEwen Warriors (McEwen, TN) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Hickman County Bulldogs (Centerville, TN), 34-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, McEwen advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Warriors host Graves County (Mayfield, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Graves County lost 61-7 in their recent non-league battle against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Summertown for a 2A Region 5 battle on Friday, September 6. Hickman County will play a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
