The Holmes County Blue Devils felled the host Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks football team by a score of 44-36 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Holmes County will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Braves go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 28-21 non-league loss to Crestview (Crestview, FL).

The Tiger Sharks (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty County (Bristol, FL). The Bulldogs go into the Rural challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Liberty County lost by Marianna (Marianna, FL), 35-0, in a non-league challenge.
