In Friday's league match, the host Richland Rams football squad scored a decisive 50-7 victory over the Huntingdon Bearcats.

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Hilltoppers enter the Laurel Highlands match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Westmont Hilltop was routed by Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA), 20-10, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bearcats confront the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) in a Laurel Highlands match, on Friday, September 6. Huntingdon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 20-10 league win over Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA).
