The North Star Cougars football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Juniata Valley Hornets to 19 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Meyersdale for a Inter-County - South test on Friday, September 6. North Star will meet a Red Raiders squad coming off a 14-13 non-league loss to Glendale (Flinton, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
