The Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA) football knocked off the visiting Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers (Steelton, PA), 29-14 in Friday's league outing.

The Indians now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Line Mountain for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Juniata will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 40-0 league win over Newport (Newport, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Steelton-Highspire drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Steamrollers host Halifax (Halifax, PA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Mid-Penn - Capital outing on Friday, September 6. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Halifax lost 42-6 in their recent league outing against Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA)
