The Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) football knocked off the host Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS), 38-15 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Noxapater for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Kemper County will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 35-7 non-league win over Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Kosciusko drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Whippets travel to Leake Central (Carthage, MS) to clash with the Gators in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. The Gators come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Leake Central won 34-6 in their recent non-league outing against Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS)
