The McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) football tipped the host Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY), 38-32 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Grayson County for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. McLean County will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Muhlenberg County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 6.
