The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Wyoming Cowboys (Cincinnati, OH) and the host Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH), witnessed Wyoming's football squad knock off Monroe by a tally of 23-6.

The Cowboys (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel-Tate (Bethel, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Bethel-Tate gained a win over Lockland (Lockland, OH), 28-3, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Hornets battle the Bishop Fenwick Falcons (Franklin, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Monroe will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 14-6 non-league win over Talawanda (Oxford, OH).
