Iowa High School Football - North Union trounced by Okoboji
August 30, 2024: Milford, IA 51351 Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA), 41-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Okoboji advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Pocahontas lost 35-12 in their recent non-league battle against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA)
The Warriors now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Ansgar for a A District 2 battle on Friday, September 6. North Union will play a Saints team coming off a 28-14 non-league win over Osage (Osage, IA). The Saints record now stands at 1-0.
