Texas High School Football - Rivercrest tops Ore City
August 30, 2024: Ore City, TX 75683 The Rivercrest Rebels football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Ore City Rebels to 13 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quitman for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Rivercrest will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 29-13 non-league loss to Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Ore City drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-1. Hughes Springs lost 21-14 in their recent non-league test against Chisum (Paris, TX)
