The Spaulding Crimson Tide football team (Barre, VT), was crushed 42-0 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT)

With the win, Rice Memorial advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Green Knights travel to Otter Valley (Brandon, VT) to encounter the Otters in a League 4 bout on Saturday, September 7. The Otters go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Otter Valley lost 35-0 in their recent league bout against Bellows Free Academy/Lamoille (Fairfax, VT)
