August 30, 2024: Wakefield, MA 01880 Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Wakefield Memorial advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Arlington (Arlington, MA) to clash with the Spy Ponders in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Spy Ponders come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Spartans now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Feehan for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 11.
