California High School Football - Hughson thwarted by Central Valley
August 30, 2024: Ceres, CA 95307 Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA), 14-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Central Valley advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Modesto (Modesto, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 1-1.
The Huskies now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Pitman for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Hughson will play a Pride team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Pride record now stands at 1-1.
