In their next game, the Bears play the Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Summerville will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA).
