August 30, 2024: Palos Heights, IL 60463 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL) and the visiting Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL), saw Chicago Christian's soccer squad hold off Macomb by a count of 1-0.
The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Chargers enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Peoria Christian tipped Kewanee (Kewanee, IL), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bombers battle the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 31. Macomb will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Redbirds enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL).
