Wisconsin High School Soccer - Lake Country Lutheran knocks off Columbus
August 30, 2024: Hartland, WI 53029 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Lake Country Lutheran Lightning soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 win over the Columbus Cardinals.
The Lightning (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against University School of Milwaukee (Milwaukee, WI). The Wildcats enter the Midwest Classic - North outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, University School of Milwaukee was overwhelmed by Shorewood (Shorewood, WI), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs (Wisconsin Dells, WI) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 3. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Chiefs enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI).
