In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Doral Academy Firebirds volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Houston Mustangs.

The Firebirds (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Steinbrenner beat Sickles (Tampa, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
