Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host McKinney Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southlake Carroll improves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Dragons travel to Boswell (Fort Worth, TX) to encounter the Pioneers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 11-8. Boswell lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX)

The Broncos now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prosper for a 6A Region I District 6 test on Tuesday, September 3. McKinney Boyd will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-13.
