With the win, Phoenix Academy improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Oak Ridge Military Academy (Oak Ridge, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 4. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Bengals now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leadership Academy for a Northwest Piedmont 1A battle on Tuesday, September 3. Triad Math and Science Academy will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.
