Garden City Bearkats (Garden City, TX) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Bryson Cowboys (Bryson, TX), 32-24 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Garden City advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bearkats travel to Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX) to play the Steers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Steers go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Robert Lee won 52-0 in their recent non-league battle against Loraine (Loraine, TX)
