The Cypress Springs Panthers football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Fort Bend Bush Broncos to 14 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alief Taylor for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Cypress Springs will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 30-27 non-league win over Klein Forest (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
