August 30, 2025: Monte Vista, CO 81144 The Sargent Farmers football squad scored 60 points and limited the visiting Lake County Panthers to 6 in the Farmers non-league win on Saturday.
In their next game, the Farmers play the Hayden Tigers (Hayden, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Sargent will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 20-18 non-league loss to Norwood (Norwood, CO).
With the defeat, Lake County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO) to meet the Golddiggers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4.
