In Saturday's league match, the visiting Ridley Raiders football squad scored a decisive 54-12 triumph over the Lower Merion Aces.

The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fightin' Tigers come into the Central match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Marple Newtown was routed by Springfield (Springfield, PA), 34-17, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Aces meet the Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) in a Central battle, on Friday, September 5. Lower Merion will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 34-17 league win over Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA).
