Illinois High School Football - Milford/Cissna Park tops Peoria Heights
August 30, 2025: Milford, IL 60953 The Milford/Cissna Park Bearcats football team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Peoria Heights Patriots to 20 in the Bearcats non-league win on Saturday.
In their next game, the Bearcats play the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) in a 8-Man East (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 5. Milford/Cissna Park will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Sabers go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 43-8 non-league loss to Pawnee/Lincolnwood (Pawnee, IL).
The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
