Ohio High School Football - Medina can't hold off Hoover
August 30, 2025: Medina, OH 44256 Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH), 8-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Hoover improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Jackson (Massillon, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Polar Bears come into the test with a record of 2-0. Jackson won 28-7 in their recent non-league test against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH)
With the defeat, Medina drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Battling bees travel to Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH) to meet the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 1-1. Wadsworth won 42-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH)
