Pennsylvania High School Football - Hopewell loses to New Castle
August 30, 2025: New Castle, PA 16101 New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), 22-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, New Castle advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hurricanes host Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA) to confront the Golden Rams in a non-league match on Saturday, September 6. The Golden Rams come into the match with a record of 0-0.
