Connecticut High School Soccer - Pomperaug nudged by Cheshire
August 30, 2025: Southbury, CT 06488 Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), 1-0 in a non-league outing.
The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Nighthawks go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, North Haven got by Branford (Branford, CT), 4-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Panthers confront the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot outing, on Thursday, September 4. Pomperaug will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
