August 30, 2025: Princeton, IL 61356 The Roanoke-Benson/Eureka Rockets soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Princeton Tigers to 0 in the Rockets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rockets now hold a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canton for a non-league game on Monday, September 1. Roanoke-Benson/Eureka will face a Little Giants team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Peoria (Peoria, IL). The Little Giants record now stands at 2-0.
The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Serena (Serena, IL). The Huskers enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Serena was overwhelmed by Ottawa (Ottawa, IL), 1-0, in a non-league game.
