Logos Prep Academy Lions (Sugar Land, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Akins Eagles (Austin, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Logos Prep Academy improves its record to 11-6 on the season. The Lions travel to New Caney (New Caney, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 13-10. New Caney won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Freeman (Katy, TX)

The Eagles now own a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon Lake for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Akins will play a team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The record now stands at 12-10.
