August 30, 2025: Lexington, KY 40517 The Apollo Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Tates Creek Commodores to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Owensboro for a District 9 match on Thursday, September 4. Apollo will confront a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-5.
The Commodores (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights enter the District 43 match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Lexington Catholic gained a win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
