In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting East Marshall Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Baxter .

The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, South Hardin was defeated by BCLUW (Conrad, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynnville-Sully for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. Baxter will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-3.
